Joseph Harwell Pleads Not Guilty
on March 25, 2011 in Serial Killers by Brian CombsJoseph Harwell was arraigned Thursday. He plead not guilty to the 1989 murder of Mary Thomas and the 1996 murder of Tondiear Harge. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
Harwell pled guilty to a murder in 1997, and is serving a 15 years to life sentence.
He was connected to these new charges when the decomposing remains of eleven women were found around the home of Anthony Sowell in east Cleveland.
