Serial Killer Wields Axe in Durban, South Africa

Police in Durban, South Africa have set up a task force to find an axe wielding killer. They believe an arrest is imminent.

The bodies of four men were found last week. All had been hacked in the neck, and two were headless. The head of one was found two kilometers from the body.

All of the victims were attacked at night.

Although the media is referring to this as the work of a serial killer, four attacks in one week doesn’t indicate much of a cooling off period. It may, in fact, be a spree killer, rather than a serial killer.

Or, if it is a serial killer, he has one heck of a short fuse.
