Possible Ninth Body Found Near Gilgo Beach
on April 11, 2011 in Unsubs by Brian CombsInvestigators found what may be a night set of human remains this morning on a isolated stretch of beach in Long Island. The remains were found on the north side of Ocean Parkway, about 1 and 1/2 miles from Jones Beach.
Numerous remains have been found that were obviously from animals, but they were not able to immediately rule this set out as being from a human. The remains were sent to the Nasssau County Medical Examiner’s Office to be identified, and there area where they were found has been roped off.
Update: As of the afternoon of April 11th, the New York Post is confirming that the remains found today are human. It’s a partial set of remains, but does include a skull.
