Nolan Ray George Given Life in Prison

Nolan Ray George was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Thursday. He was convicted last month of the 1968 murder of Gwendolyn Perry.

Dan Gosley, Gwendolyn’s brother said:

He victimized women who were smaller and weaker than him, and he strangled them.

George has been convicted of two other murders, and is suspected of several more.

    Nolan George’s conviction was affirmed this week in the Michigan Court of Appeals. In 2009, the Oakland County Prosecutor, Jessica Cooper was able to locate sufficient evidence to charge and later convict Nolan George for the 1968 murder of Gwendolyn Perry.
