Mahanand Naik Receives Seven Years

Suspected serial killer Mahanand Naik received a sentence of seven years in prison for the rape of a girl in 2009. The unnamed victim says she was being blackmailed by Mahanand, and had been raping her for over three years.
While he was being interrogated after his arrest, he confessed to the killing of sixteen women over fifteen years. He was been charged for those murders as well.
