Joseph Naso Wants an Attorney
on July 7, 2011 in Serial Killers by Brian CombsJoseph Naso, whose arrogance led him to request that he be allowed to represent himself in his trial for the murder of four women, is kow asking that co-counsel be appointed.
In court Wednesday, Naso said:
I’m confronted with these issues that are acting as a great impediment to my defense. I’m in a cell 23 hours a day and do not have the liberty to review law books, as I would prefer.
District Attorney Ed Berberian argued that Naso can afford to hire his own attorney, as he has assets totaling almost one million dollars.
Judge Andrew Sweet agreed to hear arguments regarding the request today.
