Kimball a Suspect in Peggy Hettrick’s Murder

Peggy Hettrick was murdered in 1987 in Fort Collins, Colorado. According to authorities, she was stabbed and sexually mutilated, with part of a breast and vaginal tissue being sliced off.
These wounds resemble those of Catrina Powell, who was found dead on October 25, 2004. Investigators believe this may be the signature of a single unsub. As Scott Lee Kimball is currently being investigated for Powell’s murder, he is a natural suspect for Hettrick’s
The Denver Post reports that Kimball was known to be in Fort Collins in 1987.
Both the FBI and Colorado investigators are giving the “we can neither confirm nor deny” line when asked about the investigation.
