Ian Brady Allegedly Assaults Prison Nurse

The Telegraph reports that 73-year-old convicted Moors Murderer Ian Brady has been accused of threatening a nurse with some sort of jug at high-security Ashworth Hospital. The nurse reported the incident to her bosses, and made a formal complaint to Merseyside Police yesterday.

There does not appear to be a sexual motive to the assault, and the nurse was not injured.

Brady’s attorney, Richard Nicolas, denies any wrongdoing:

Ian Brady denies any improper conduct or assault.
