Kimball Suspected in Murder of Seattle Prosecutoron October 24, 2010 in Law Enforcement, Serial Killers, Unsubs by Brian Combs
Convicted serial killer Scott Lee Kimball is a suspect in the 2001 murder of Seattle prosecutor Tom Wales. Reports are the Kimball spent time in Seattle around the time Wales was killed, and that he claimed he had information on Wales’ murder.
Wales, who handled mostly white-collar crimes, was hit by several shots fired through his window as he sat in the basement of his Queen Anne home. In 2006, the FBI put its Portland field office in charge of the case, hoping to bring a fresh point of view to the case, and to make some prospect.
The FBI had no comment about Kimball’s connection.
