Andrew Urdiales is expected in court today. He will be arraigned for the murders of five women in southern California:
Robbin Brandley, 23, on January 18, 1986 in Mission Viejo
Julie McGhee, 29, on July 17, 1988 in Cathedral City

Tammie Erwin, 20, on April 16, 1989 in Palm Springs

Prosecutors allege that Urdiales committed the first four murders while serving as a U.S. Marine. He was discharged in 1991 and moved home to Illinois.
He allegedly committed the fifth murder while on vacation.
Urdiales has already been convicted of killing three prostitutes in Illinois. He was sentenced to death, but his penalty was reduced to life in prison without the possibility of parole when Illinois outlawed capital punishment.
