Sello Alfred Phalane Sentenced to Lifeon October 13, 2011 in Serial Killers by Brian Combs
Sello Alfred Phalane was given 14 life sentences by the Middleburg High Court in Limpopo, South Africa on Thursday. He had been previously found guilty on five counts of murder, five counts of rape and four counts of robbery.
The sentences will run concurrently.
Eva Lekalakala, 41, was killed in June 2008. Her body was found at Spitpunt, in Dennilton.
Josephine Manamela, 38, was killed in August 2008.
The body of another women was found in February 2009. She was aged around 30, but has not been identified.
Phalane’s fourth and fifth victims, Margaret Seretlo, 41, and Elizabeth Kobe, 36, were found in July 2009.
