Mohan Kumar Trial Underway
on November 28, 2011 in Alleged Serial Killers by Brian CombsMohan Kumar, aka Cyanide Mohan, is accused of the murder of twenty women. His trial began on Monday, November 21, in Manglore, India.
Prosectors say he lured his victims with promises of marriage, and after having sex with them, murdered them with cyanide tablets. As he then stole their valuables, it’s unclear whether the motivation was sexual or criminal, or if he simply liked the thrill of killing.
All twenty cases were combined under India’s Fast Track court system. Mohan is defending himself in the proceeding.
