Victim of John Wayne Gacy Identified
on November 29, 2011 in Forensics, Serial Killers by Brian CombsDNA evidence has determined one of the unidentified remains of John Wayne Gacy to be William George Bundy. A 19-year-old construction worker, William disappeared in 1976.
Family members have long suspected he was one of Gacy’s victims.
The Cook County Sheriff Office issued a plea for DNA samples from the relatives of suspected Gacy victims about two months ago. William’s brother and sister submitted samples.
The remains of seven additional Gacy victims remain unidentified.
