Dean Corll Victim Identified
on December 1, 2011 in Forensics, Serial Killers by Brian CombsForensic scientists in Harris County have identified Roy Eugene Bunton as a victim of Dean Corll. Bunton was last seen as he was leaving for work at Northwest Mall in Houston.
Conflicting reports have this happening in either 1971 or 1972, when he was 17 or 18 years old.
Bunton’s body was one of two found in a boathouse owned by Corll. The second body remains unidentified.
Previously, Bunton’s body was believed to be that of Michael Baulch, but in 2010 an error was discovered in earlier DNA testing.
