Canadian Forces Burn David Russell Williams Military Effects
on November 19, 2010 in Murderabillia, Serial Killers by Brian CombsTuesday, four Canadian military officials entered the Tweed cottage of convicted serial killer David Russell Williams. They left ninety minutes later with enough military effects, including books, manuals and uniforms, to fill a van.
Commander Hubert Genest, a Canadian Forces spokesperson, said:
All his military clothes — boots, headdress, shirts and everything — as soon it was taken it was also disposed of, it was actually burned the same day.
Items such as uniforms are usually recycled, but the Air Command thought it best if anything with Williams’ name on it be destroyed. Burning it ensures that it not end up on the murderabillia market.
