Itzcoatl Ocampo may be Implicated in Additional Murders
on February 2, 2012 in Alleged Serial Killers by Brian CombsFormer US Marine and Afghanistan vet Itzcoatl Ocampo has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder, but some investigators like him for two more. They see similarities in the way 53-year-old Raquel Estrada and her 34-year-old son, Juan Herrera, were stabbed to death on October 25, 2011.
Initially, Eder Herrera was suspected of having killed his mother and brother. He was arrested leaving a friend’s house the next day. He said he spent the night there.
Herrera was in custody when James McGillvray, the first of four homeless victims, was killed.
