Possible Victim of Gilgo Beach Serial Killer Found
on February 19, 2012 in Unsubs by Brian CombsSkeletal remains have been in found in Manorville, New York, not far from where partial remains of four victims were found between 2000 and 2003. Other parts of two of these victims were found last spring near Gilgo Beach about 40 miles away.
Undergrowth suggested that the body in Manorville had been there about five years, but a forensic anthropologist is being brought in to examine the crime scene. No details on the victim’s age, gender, or identity are known at this time.
Determining cause of death after such a long can be very difficult, unless there is clear trauma to the bones. And even if there is, investigators need to rule out animals as the cause of that trauma.
