Alfred Gaynor Pleads Guilty to Number Eight
on November 24, 2010 in Serial Killers by Brian CombsAlfred Gaynor plead guilty to what he says was his first murder, that happened in 1995. Vera Hallums, 45, was a mother of four. She was tied with electrical cords, beaten and strangled in her Springfield apartment in April 1995.
Said Gaynor:
That’s all I have left to give, is the truth. Without my truth, they have nothing.
That puts his total at eight, with an equal number of life terms. The confession was part of the plea deal for his nephew from last month.
