Two More Victims of the Speed Freak Killers Identified
on April 1, 2012 in Serial Killers by Brian CombsTwo bodies found by investigators from a map drawn by Wesley Shermantine have been identified. DNA identified the remains of Kimberly Billy and Joann Hobson, after their skeletons were found in a sealed well 100 miles east of San Francisco.
Nearly 1,000 human bone fragments were found in the well, plus a woman’s ring, push, shoes and coats. Investigators believe the bones may be from three different skeletons.
Shermantine, and his childhood friend Loren Herzog, are believed to have committed as many as two dozen murders.
