Laurie Ann Pentland was my cousin. For years no one knew who killed her. I read I, The making of a serial killer, and discovered it was Keith Hunter Jesperson who murdered her. I did not know Laurie personally as she was raised by her mother in another state. I knew her brothers though, as they were raised by my mothers brother. Laurie is buried next to my mother in Olympia. She had visited her mother who was staying at my mothers house just a couple of weeks before she was killed. I wish I could have been a better relative and done something to save her.
