Sergei Martynov Accused of Eight Murders in Russia

Russian investigators have accused Sergei Martynov of eight murders in a series of rapes across ten Russian regions. The crimes are said to have happened between 2005 and 2010.

Martynov served about 14 years in prison for a rape-murder in 1992. Once released, he began to kill again, according to investigators.

Most of the victims were women, but two were young girls. He faces life imprisonment if convicted.
