Robert Mitchell Foust Charged With Two Cold Case Murders
on June 6, 2012 in Alleged Serial Killers by Brian CombsRobert Mitchell Foust, who is serving time for rape, has been charged with the murders of Jana Michelle Morton and Tamara Ann Liner in Alamance County, NC.
Jana was last seen alive leaving her home on February 13, 2009. Her body was found in the woods behind a house in Burlington, NC on Friday, May 25, 2012.
Tamara was last seen alive on July 23, 2008. Her body was found on January 3, 2009 off a road in northern Alamance County.
Reports are the Foust told investigators where to find Jana’s body as part of a deal to save his live.
Foust was convicted of second-degree murder in 1987 and paroled in 2000. He was convicted of first-degree rape in January 2010, and is serving a 40 year sentence.
Investigators believe he may be connected to two additional murders.
