Robert Foust Given Life in Prison

on July 2, 2012 in Serial Killers by

As part of a plea deal to avoid the death penalty, Robert Foust was given life in prison last week for the murder of Michelle Morton. Michelle disappeared in February 2009.

Investigators have liked Foust for the murder for some time, but didn’t have her body. As Foust was already serving a 40 year sentence for raping Michelle, they were not in a hurry.

Kelly Perry, a friend of Michelle’s said:

Horrible. It’s indescribable. You don’t know until you live through it.

I wanted to scream it at him and it was hard, but it was something I needed to do and I wanted to do it for her, for her daughter and the rest of the family.

There is no justice here. She’s gone forever. He gets to live, we get to pay for him to live. It’s just not right.
