Clifford Olson Denied Parole

on December 1, 2010 in Serial Killers by

Angrily leaving the hearing where his parole was denied Tuesday, convicted Canadian serial killer Clifford Olson said:

This is the final time. Never again. I’m out.

If he was surprised by the ruling, he’s probably the only one in North America who is.

Olson read a handwritten affidavit addressed to Canadian federal officials and U.S. President Barack Obama. In it, he renounced his Canadian citizenship and asked for a transfer to the United States.

He might not really want that. Here, we have true life-in-prison-without-parole. In Canada, his parole status is automatically reviewed every two years.

We also sometimes stick needles in the arms of serial killers like Olson.
