Possible Break in Oakland County Child Killer Case
on July 31, 2012 in Unsubs by Brian CombsEarlier this month, a prosecutor in Michigan announced that DNA testing by the FBI has determined that a hair found on two of the victims of the Oakland County Child Killer, came from the same person.
The two victims in question are 12-year-old Mark Stebbins and 11-year-old Timothy King. Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper said that the hair samples belong to an associate of 70-year-old Arch Edward Sloan, the owner of a 1966 Pontiac Bonneville in which a matching hair was found.
Cooper is looking for tips about people who might have been with Sloan at that time (between 1976 and 1977). Sloan is serving two life sentences for first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
