Another Attack in Philadelphia

An unsub serial killer, who is now known as the Kensington Strangler, may have attacked again. A woman was assaulted near midnight Tuesday night in the area where the unsub has strangled women before.

City Councilmember Maria Quinones-Sanchez blames the environment:

When you look at the root of the people involved,” Quinones-Sanchez said. “Even the victims in this case – the trail leads back to an environment that’s, particularly in Kensington, of one of drugs and prostitution. In an area that I talk about many times – the forgotten area – it’s a contained criminal element that has existed there, that is very visible, but that many times we ignore.

Police have released a sketch of the suspect.
