Possible Serial Killer in Oak Beach, Long Island
on December 14, 2010 in Unsubs by Brian CombsPolice suspect a serial killer may be at work in Long Island after four bodies were found in close proximity on a secluded beach. All four have been dead for at least a month, but some of them may have been there much longer.
At this point, none of the bodies have been identified, but one is suspected to be that of Shonnan Gilbert, who disappeared in May. Gilbert, of Jersey CIty, was a known prostitute.
She was last seen on May 1st, and was believed to be meeting a client she met through a Craigslist classified advertisement.
Police are working to determine if other missing person reports may match the findings.
