Grim Sleeper Photos to be Released
on December 16, 2010 in Law Enforcement, Serial Killers by Brian CombsWhen Lonnie Franklin Jr., the alleged “Grim Sleeper”, was arrested in July, police found nearly a thousand still photographs and hundreds of hours of home video. The images were quite sexually graphic.
Franklin has been charged with the murder of seven young African-American women between 1985 and 1988, and three more between 2002 and 2007.
Police have been unable to determine who many of the women in the images are, and need to account for their welfare. As a result, they are going to release images of about 160 women in the hope that someone will recognize them and contact investigators.
