Long Island Man’s Home Searched
on December 16, 2010 in Law Enforcement, Unsubs by Brian CombsAccording to Examiner.com, police have searched the home of Joseph A. Brewer of Oak Island, New York in connection with the four bodies found on a beach in Long Island. He is the last man known to have seen Shannon Gilbert alive.
Gilbert remains missing, but it is believed that one of the bodies found may be her remains. Efforts at identification are ongoing.
Brewer contacted Gilbert through Craigslist and asked her to attend a party at his house on May 1, 2010. She reportedly left his house screaming. She knocked on several neighbor’s doors and the police were called.
Police report that Gilbert was incoherent and did not know where she was. She spoke to police for 23 minutes and disappeared.
Brewer’s house is across the street from where the four bodies were found. Some months ago, he stopped living into the house and moved into another he owns.
Come on. Brewer is your man. Or somebody he knows very well.
Why haven’t they locked him up
I have faith the cops know that Brewer is the guy responsible. It would be the most absurd coincidence ever if he was not involved. Especially because she was screaming “they are going to kill me” – wtf
