Mona Yvette Nelson may be a Serial Killer
on December 31, 2010 in Serial Killers by Brian CombsMona Yvette Nelson has been charged with capital murder in the death of 12-year-old Jonathan Foster. Houston Police say she may be a serial killer of children.
The burned body of Foster was found in a drainage ditch. Nelson was seen talking to the boy before his disappearance, and a surveillance camera caught her dumping the body.
Nelson is believed to have abducted Foster from his mother’s apartment, and to have used welding torches to burn the boy’s body in her own apartment.
It has not been revealed whether the burns occurred pre- or post-mortem. The latter would likely have been to cover up the victim’s identity, but the former could indicate that Nelson is a female mysoped, a fairly rare combination.
