Yulianto’s House Torched Before Trial Starts

on January 13, 2011 in Serial Killers by

Just ten hours before his trial was to begin, the home of alleged serial killer Yulianto was set on fire by a group of unknown men. The Sukoharjo, Central Java home has been empty since Yulianto was arrested in August.

Yulianto has confessed to six murders, but is being tried for only three. One of the murders happened twenty years ago, which is past the statute of limitations in Java. Police were unable to find sufficient evidence in the other two.

Yulianto, a masseur, was reportedly owed money by some of the victims. After he killed them, he stole their money and belongings.
