Death Sentence Upheld for Surender Koli
on February 15, 2011 in Serial Killers by Brian CombsIndia’s Supreme Court has upheld the death sentence for serial killer Surender Koli. He has been sentenced to death for the rape and murder of 14-year-old Rimpa Halder.
In their order, Justices Markandey Katju and Gyan Sudha Misra said:
In our opinion, this case falls in the rarest of rare category, and no mercy can be shown to him.
Rimpa was strangled and dismembered by Koli.
