Lucky Ward Accused of Being a Serial Killer

Last November, Lucky Ward, a homeless man living in Houston, was arrested and charged with the capital murder of Retia Faye Long. Yesterday, he was charged with the capital murder of Carlos T. Rodriguez.

Ward’s DNA has been linked to three other murders, Raquel Mundy, Carol Flood, and Ruben D. Ical.

His victimology appears to simple be people he views as vulnerable, whether homeless females or homosexual males.

All the victims were strangled, but HPD Captain David Gott made oblique references to other similarities.
