Joel Rifkin’s House Sells

After being on the market for nearly a year, but Joel Rifkin’s former home has sold. The 1952 two-story, ranch-style home in Long Island’s East Meadow went on sale after Rifkin’s mother died in March 2010.

The original asking price was $424,500, but it sold for $322,000.

Some of Rifkin’s victims were murdered and dismembered inside the house.

The buyers of the house have only been identified as Tracy and Jim. In a statement, Tracy said:

It’s a great house, and we got it for a great price. A house is a house. People die all the time in houses. We’re bringing all positive vibes … no more bad.
