No Suitcase Serial Killer in Mumbai
on March 16, 2011 in Unsubs by Brian CombsInitial beliefs of a serial killer on the prowl in Mumbai appear to be incorrect, police report. As one of the bodies had been found in a suitcase, the unsub had been named the “Suitcase Serial Killer”.
On March 10th, a suitcase was found by police. When search, the body of a 30-year-old woman was found. She had been killed by smothering, and there were no signs of sexual assault.
Monday night, a second body was found. This woman, about 25-years-old, had been strangled. She was four months pregnant, and was sexual assaulted.
Police have been unable to identify either victim, but do not believe the cases are connected.
