Luis Garavito was convicted of the murder of 138 boys in Columbia. He is suspected of having killed perhaps more than 300, which would make him one of the most prolific serial killers in history.
Garavito target poor, street children. After gaining their trust, he would rape them and slit their throats. Most victims were tortured and/or dismembered.
