Marie Noe was born in 1928. She was born into a family with many children and a troubled home. Noe dropped out of school at an early age to help take care of her niece. Noe stated that had difficulty learning at school due to having scarlet fever at a young age.
It is believed that Now began her serial series at the age of 21, after the birth of her first son in 1949. All of Noe’s victims were her children. At the time of their death it was believed the eight children had all died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), but Noe later admitted that she suffocated 4 of her children to death.
In 1998 Noe was arrested for murdering her children. She was charged with first degree murder in 1998 for 4 of her children. In 1999 Noe made a plea agreement to confess to 8 counts of second degree murder. Noe was sentenced to 20 years of probation and the first 5 years was to be spent under house arrest.
