Robert Fry was born on August 18, 1973 in Farmington, New Mexico.

According to records, Fry can distinctly recall being scared by his babysitter and two brothers after they put ketchup on their heads to make it look like blood. Throughout his childhood he was picked on by kids. At the age of 18 he began to lose touch with reality through his use of drugs and alcohol. During this downward spiral, he was accused of raping Alexis Diego and joined the Navy in the same year.

Fry began his serial series at the age of 23, in 1996. Fry would murder both men and women. He would typically stab his victims, but was also known to have beat them with sledgehammers, swords, brooms and shovels.

On June 11, 2000 Fry was arrested and at the time was only accused for the murder of Betty Lee. While he was in prison, Fry was accused of murdering an additional 3 people. On April 18, 2001 he was found guilty for the murder of Betty Lee, in 2003 and 2004 was found guilty of the other three murders. He was sentenced to death. Fry has not been executed yet and is currently serving his sentence in New Mexico.
