Terry Blair was born on September 16, 1961 in Missouri. He was born the fourth eldest of ten siblings.
Blair was born into a family where criminal activity was regular. HIs mother had been diagnosed with a mental illness and shot a man, his brother, Walter Blair Jr. was convicted of murder and executed, his half brother, Clifford Miller, was sentenced to two life sentences for kidnapping and forcible sodomy.
Before beginning his serial series Blair had been incarcerated for 21 years for the murder of his pregnant wife. He began his series after he was released from prison in 2003, at the age of 42. All of Blair’s victims were females between the ages of 25 and 42. Blair would usually rape his victims and subsequently strangle them to death.
Blair was arrested on October 15, 2004 and charged with eight counts of first degree murder, as well as assault and three counts of forcible rape. He was sentenced to life in prison with no parole. He is currently serving time in Missouri.
