Wayne Boden was born in 1948, in Ontario, Canada.
It is believed that Boden began his murder series in 1969, at the age of 21, and continued until 1971. All of his victims were females. The women were raped and then strangled to death. Boden earned the name the Vampire Rapist because both after and during the murders of his victims he would violently bite their breasts. Boden took the time to put clothing back on some of his victims, while the others were left nude. Only one of his victims was found not at the scene of the crime. He preferred to attack women and leave them in their apartments.
On May 19, 1971 Boden was arrested for the murder of Elizabeth Anne Porteous, in Calgary, Alberta. The deep bite marks that were left on her breasts were critical evidence that was used to find Boden guilty of her murder. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for her murder and was then sent to Montreal for 3 other murder charges. In February of 1972, he was found guilty of committing the 3 murders and was sentenced to life in prison. On March 27, 2008, Boden died of skin cancer.
