William K. Sapp

William K. Sapp was born in 1963. He began his serial series at the age of 29. He would typically rape and beat his victims to death. All of his victims were women and the murders took place in Springfield.
Sapp was tied to the rapes and murders in 1996 through DNA testing. On December 29, 2004 Sapp was given the death sentence after being found guilty of three murders, rape, kidnapping and attempted murder. He is current;y serving time on death row in Mansfield Correctional Institute.
