  • Jennifer says:

I knew Jeannie McCrea. She was a beautiful, funny, creative, and increadably smart. She sat behind me in English my junior year of highschool. She had her whole life ahead of her and this monster took that away.

  • cathy says:

He lived next door to my teenage babysitter. I still shutter to think about this. He held a hostage in his house and after she fled his home, he was arrested. There would have been many more. He was so normal, engineer at a federal plant.

  • Paul says:

Jennifer, you knew Jeannie McCrea? I just finished the book (Stranger in the Family) in which Starrett claims the “relationship” was consensual, that he was in love with Jeannie, and that he shot her accidentally. What’s more, he blamed all his heinous acts on his “alternate consciousness” Of course I didn’t believe any of it for a second. It was just the case of a subhuman murderer trying to whitewash his crimes and cover his tracks.
