Release Denied for Russell Johnson
on May 26, 2012 in Serial Killers by Brian CombsRussell Maurice Johnson, who was found not guilty by reason of insanity for the murders of three women in 1978, has lost an appeal to be moved to a medium security wing of the Penetanguishene Mental Health Centre.
Know as the Bedroom Strangler, he climbed onto balconies of apartment buildings looking for victims. After being captured and charged for three murders, he confessed to four more.
