Joan Butler is my cousin, I’d love to know if there are areas that maybe we could search, to finally put her at rest.

  • Laura says:

I was pen pals with Richard Grissom in the 90’s when I was about 17 years old. I knew he was in jail, but I didn’t know that he was a murderer. His letters were always very sweet and very beautiful so I was quite surprised to google him all these years later and see who he really is. Sorry to hear about your losses. Hope you get some closure for your loved ones.

If you are married to his son, shouldn’t his son know the answer to this? I’m confused!

Richard Grissom, Jr. was born in 1960. He was 16 years old when he killed for the first time in 1976. He would have been 28 or 29 at the time of the 1989 murders.

There were more victims than that.
