Peter Moore Begins New Appeal

on October 14, 2012 in Serial Killers by

Peter Moore, who killed four gay men in late 1995, has begun an appeal of his life sentence at the Court of Appeal in London.

Earlier this year, Moore and two other convicted murderers attempted to convince the European Court of Human Rights that their life sentences amounted to inhuman or degrading punishment. The court rejected the appeal, but the ruling is being reviewed by the court’s Grand Chamber in Strasbourg.

It is unknown what the basis for Moore’s London appeal will be.
